Morning start your Temple Tour with drive to Mysore from Bangalore. Mysore, the city of palaces, is a popular travel destination in South India. Enroute. Visit Sri Ranganatha Temple, which is 1200 year old and is dedicated to Ranganatha, a manifestation of Lord Vishnu. Later visit Mysore Palace. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles, and is dramatically lit at night. Chamundreshwari Temple is dedicated the Goddess Chamundreshwari who is an incarnation of Goddess Kali or Durga. The Temple is built on top of Chamundi Hills. Daria Daulat Palace was built by Tipu Sultan in 1784, is based on Indo - Sarcenic architectural style and is built of teakwood. The palace has beautifully studded with frescoes on its walls. Brindavan Gardens was built adjacent to the KRS Dam across the river Cauvery. The Gardens has a musical fountain and boating in the lake. Overnight at hotel in Mysore.
After breakfast at hotel, check out of hotel and drive to Coorg. Coorg, popularly known as Scotland of India is a wonderful place to rewind yourself. Visit Talakaveri, which is the place that is generally considered to be the source of the river Kaveri. It is located by Brahmagiri hill near Bhagamandala. Visit Abbey Falls, few of the best water falls of India. Abbey falls, is amidst of lush spread of coffee plantation. The waterfall comes down from a height of 70 feet and provides a superb vista. Later visit Bailkuppe near Kushalnagar. It is one of the largest Tibetan settlements in south India. The 40 ft tall Golden Buddha statues are the major attractions of Bailkoppa. Also visit nearby scenic places in Madikere. Overnight stay in Hotel in Coorg.
After breakfast at hotel and drive to Kukke Subrahmanya, a popular religious destination which is surrounded by lush green forest along with hills. It is situated on the banks of the Kumaradhara River. On arrival, visit to the main temple and Adi Subrahmanya. Then proceed to Dharmasthala, the holy abode for Hindu's. Visit to the Sri Manjunathaswamy Temple, the main attraction of Dharmasthala and have a darshan of Lord Manjunatha Swamy. In Kannada, Kudremukh means 'horse's face' and the place gets its name from a peak that resembles the face of a horse. The beautiful landscapes of Kurdremukh are a big crowd puller. After breakfast drive to Udupi and visit to the world famous Sri Krishna Temple and then visit nearby Anantheshwara temple and Chandramouleshwara Temple. After visiting these temples, Then drive to Kollur. On arrival at Kollur, visit to Sri Mookambika Temple. Later proceed to Murudeshwara beach town which lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea and is also famous for the Murudeshwara Temple. The main attraction of this place is world's second tallest Shiva statue and 20 storied Gopura is constructed at the temple. Visit Shiva statue and Lord Murudeshwara Temple, built on the Kanduka Hill which is surrounded on three sides by the waters of the Arabian Sea. Enroute visit Jog Falls which is the second highest plunge waterfall in India, and back drive to Udupi, Overnight stay at Hotel in Udupi.
Morning after breakfast drive to Belur. Enroute visit, Kalaseshwara Temple at Kalasa, the wonderful hoysala architecture at the temples of Belur and Halebid. Drive to Bangalore. On arrival at Bangalore, transfer to railway station for onward journey.
